Terms and Conditions


The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to and govern ICICI Bank’s ‘Live Without Cash Movement’ Programme. ICICI Bank may specify additional terms and conditions governing the Programme from time to time and/or revise or amend the existing Terms. Such terms shall be in addition to and not in derogation of these Terms. Such amended/revised terms/ additional terms and conditions shall be communicated by ICICI Bank by hosting the same on Website www.icicibank.com/lwcm. The Participants shall be responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms including any amendments thereto as may be posted on Website. All participants undertake to have read and understood these Terms and agree to abide by them at all times. Model is being used in visuals for the illustrative purposes only.


DEFINITIONS:


  1. Programme” means the ‘#LiveWithoutCash Movement’ initiated by ICICI Bank which is a 30 Day Challenge for Individuals (ICICI Bank Savings Account Customers), Individuals (Only Pockets Users), Family Banking customers, Merchants, Salary Corporates and Institutions.
  1. Participant” means existing customers of ICICI Bank or any other who is above the age of eighteen (18) and wishes to participate in the Programme.
  2. Website” means the official page of Programme www.icicibank.com/lwcm
  3. “Entry” means the desired information that the Participants submit on the website and which will be used for their evaluation in the Programme.  
  4. Alliance Partner/ Sponsors” shall mean the entities who are providing awards or sponsorships in this Programme.
  5. Award” shall mean the prizes and awards as mentioned in the Awards section of these Terms.
  6. Programme Period” shall mean the period starting from December 16, 2016 15:00:00 hours to January 31, 2017 23:59:00 hours as per Indian Standard Time.
  7. “Challenge Period” shall mean the 30-day period starting from the date of registration of the Participant.
  8. “Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions applicable to the Programme.
A. How to Participate?
  • Step 1: In order to participate in the Programme, the Participant needs to register for the Programme
  • Step 2: Post registration, the Participant needs to undertake measures during the 30 day Challenge Period to:
    • Reduce/eliminate the cash transactions
    • Increase the non-cash/digital transactions
    • Encourage family members, relatives, friends, employees, customers, service providers etc. to adopt non-cash modes of transactions and to refer them to iMobile/Pockets
  • Step 3: Complete the entry and submit the proof of declaration of the amount of cash withdrawn from non-ICICI Bank account (only applicable to Individual –Pockets Users)   
  • Participating Category: The participants will be able to register under ANYONE category from the following:
    • Individual – With ICICI Bank Savings Account
    • Individual - With ICICI Bank Pockets
    • Family Banking customer - With ICICI Bank Savings Account
    • Merchant - With ICICI Bank Current Account
    • Corporate - With minimum 200 employees on-rolls
    • Institution - With ICICI Bank Savings or Current Account
  • The participation in the programme would be through programme Website www.icicibank.com/lwcm. Additionally, Participants under Individual and Family Banking customer category can also participate through the missed call number 1800-3000-9500 and complete the registration process on Website.
  • In case of Entry under Corporates and Institutions, the participant of the Programme need to be authorised by the respective Corporates and Institutions to apply on its behalf. The Participant hereby represents and warrants that he/she has all relevant permissions and authorisation from the Corporates/ Institutions to participate in the Programme and has all the authority to execute any document or form in relation to the same. The Participant shall take all actions on behalf of his/her organisation in relation to the Programme.
  • The Participant can participate in the Programme only if he/she agrees to the Terms & Conditions of this Programme.
  • By submitting an Entry, each Participant represents and warrants that the Entry is true and correct. The Participant further grants right to ICICI Bank, to ask the Participant to validate the Entry at any point of time.
  • The shortlisted Entries will be selected basis the Evaluation Criteria as defined on the Website.
  • Only winning Participants will be intimated by email/sms provided by the Participants at the time of registration for this Programme.
  • In case of a tie, the final winning Participants amongst the shortlisted shall be decided through a tie breaker criteria that shall be intimated on his/her account on the Website. The tie-breaker criteria will be asked only to the Participants who are in the tied-up in shortlisting process.
  • Participants may seek assistance of the local ICICI Bank Branch or officials with tab or mobile facilities for registration in their presence. However, the responsibility of the Entry or non-submission lies entirely with the Participants. ICICI Bank and its employees will not be responsible for the same.
  • In case the Participants do not receive OTP or receive error message during Registration, the Applicant should visit the ‘Contact Us’ section of website or write to support@lwcmovement.com from his/her registered email id mentioned while registering for the Programme. Mail should carry below details:
      • Type of complaint
      • Registered Email id and Mobile Phone No. as submitted during Programme registration

EVALUATION CRITERIA


1. Individual (ICICI Bank Savings Account Customers)

1 Gate Criteria Use any of the following ICICI Bank payment channels and do at least 5 financial non-cash transactions: iMobile, Pockets, UPI, Cards (Debit, Credit & Prepaid), Internet Banking and SMS Banking +5000
2 Referral Successful referral of iMobile and Pockets with at least one financial non-cash transaction +1000 each
3 Cash withdrawals Allowed up to ₹5,000 1 point will be deducted for every rupee withdrawn over ₹5,000
2. Individual (Only Pockets Users)

2 Referral Successful referral of Pockets with at least one financial transaction +1000 each
3 Cash withdrawals Allowed up to ₹5,000 1 point will be deducted for every rupee withdrawn over ₹5,000
4 Declaration Participant to declare that the cash withdrawal amount mentioned by him/her in the entry during the 30 day cashless challenge period from any other bank(s)/ entity is correct to the best of his/her knowledge.  
3. Family Banking* (ICICI Bank Savings Account Customers)

1 Gate Criteria At least two accounts should use any one of the following ICICI Bank payment channels and do at least 5 financial non-cash transactions per account: iMobile, Pockets, UPI, Cards (Debit, Credit & Prepaid), Internet Banking and SMS Banking +10000
2 Referral Successful referral of iMobile and Pockets with at least one financial non-cash transaction +1000 each
3 Cash withdrawals during 30 day challenge period (per Account) Allowed up to ₹5,000 1 point will be deducted for every rupee withdrawn over ₹5,000

*For Family, the evaluation will be done on Family id basis.

4. Merchant:

  • Category B - With employee base above 2000

Numerator includes the following:

  1. ICICI Bank Account holder, using ICICI Bank solution
  2. Prospective ICICI Bank customer using Pockets/CUG (List of such customer to be shared by the participating Corporate for further verification)
1B Extent of penetration of Digital Payment solutions – For Prospective customers Incremental number of digital payment solution of other banks/total employee base (Data to be given by the Corporate)
2 Winning Criteria Average of 1A and 1B  

Information on the above two criteria will be shared by the authorised person of the Corporate at the end of the 30-day challenge through a link which will be sent on the registered mobile no. and email id. Alternatively, the authorised person can login on www.icicibank.com/lwcm and enter the details and submit the same. All information on the above two criteria must be submitted within 15 days post the completion of your 30-day challenge period.

6. Institution (Schools, Housing Societies and Others):

REFERRAL FOR PARTICIPANTS

  • Following digital payment channels are allowed for referral: Pockets and iMobile referral
  • To refer someone, the Participant first needs to download iMobile ( if the Participant is an ICICI Bank customer) and/or Pockets (ICICI Bank digital wallet).
  • There is no capping on number of referrals and one could refer their friends, relatives, colleagues and acquaintances.
  • The referral will not be considered valid till the referred person has downloaded iMobile and/or Pockets and at least one financial transaction has been made by the referred person.

  • All Awards are subject to the Terms and Conditions and Alliance Partner’s T&C wherever applicable. In case of any conflict between Partner’s Terms & Conditions and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  • ICICI Bank holds out no warranty or makes no representation about the quality, usefulness, worthiness, delivery or otherwise of the goods and services or the Awards offered by the Alliance Partner.
  • Participant understands and agrees that the Award(s) offered by Alliance Partners are not sponsored by ICICI Bank and ICICI Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/ damage/ claim that may arise out of use or otherwise of any goods / services / Awards availed by the Winner under the Programme offered by the Partner of ICICI Bank.
  • Only those Participants who have submitted the complete entries shall be eligible for the participation Awards. Participant has to follow the process as laid for redeeming the Participation Award on the Award section of the Website. Also the details of participation Award shall be shared through an email communication on the registered email ID submitted during registration.
  • The winners of the Award shall be declared by May 31, 2017. All Awards shall be transferred by June 30, 2017, subject to the verification of declaration provided by the winner within the stipulated mentioned time and the same being found accurate.
  • All the Awards are non-transferable and no cash alternatives are available.
  • If an Award (or part of an Award) is unavailable, the Alliance Partner(s) or ICICI Bank, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the original Award (or that part of the Award) with an alternative Award to the approximately equal monetary value and/or specification.
  • No substitutions or exchange of the Award, other than what is detailed in the communication sent to the winner shall be allowed. However, ICICI Bank reserves the right to substitute and/or change the Award at its sole discretion at any point of time without any notice to Participant.
  • All images/visuals of the Awards in the communications are indicative only. ICICI Bank and its Alliance Partners reserve the right to change the images / visuals of the Aawards at its discretion.
  • Each Participant is eligible to win a maximum of only one Award. If a Participant qualifies for multiple Awards, then the Award with the higher value shall be awarded to such Participant.
  • All issues / queries / complaints / grievances relating to the Award, if any, shall be addressed to the Alliance Partner(s) /agency/aendor offering such Award directly without any reference to ICICI Bank. The same shall be addressed by such Alliance Partner(s)/agency(ies)/vendor(s) as per the terms of the contract of the Award or up to a period of 30 days after the date of receipt of the Award.
  • The Award sponsored by the Alliance Partner(s) and the winner Participant shall be bound by the Terms and Conditions stipulated by the Alliance Partner(s).
  • In the event any Awards offered in the Programme is not availed/ collected by the respective winner within the days mentioned above by ICICI Bank, due to any reason whatsoever, such Award(s) shall be forfeited and such winner(s) shall have no claim against ICICI Bank, its partners, agents, service providers, directors, employees etc. This also applies to instances where ICICI Bank has not been able to reach out to the winner Participant through mobile and email id, provided by the Participant as part of the Programme. This includes scenarios such as mails bouncing back or Participant not responding to communication where response is sought and any such similar situations.


PROGRAMME RULES

  • All ICICI Bank employees can join the #LiveWithoutCash Movement but they will not be eligible for the Awards.
  • The participation to the Programme is entirely voluntary and free of any charge.
  • A Participant may participate only once during the Programme Period.
  • Each Participant is permitted to submit only one Entry during the Programme Period. If multiple entries are found, ICICI Bank at its sole discretion may reject all Entries or retain any one of the Entries and reject others at its sole discretion
  • If the information submitted by Participant under the Programme is incorrect, false or invalid, ICICI Bank may, at its sole discretion can cancel the Entry. Any Registration with inactive/ invalid / incorrect mobile number or email address or society registration number shall be rejected.
  • Any Entry including or depicting anything which is foul, indecent, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, objectionable or inappropriate or against public policy or public morality, shall lead to disqualification of the Participant at the sole discretion of ICICI Bank.
  • Selection of winner shall be at the sole discretion of ICICI Bank or the appointed Jury and Participant shall not make any claim against the same.
  • ICICI Bank shall choose and notify the winner(s) of the Programme by e-mail. ICICI Bank shall not be responsible for any loss arising out of non- communication from Participant’s end either due to email not reaching to the registered email ID. The winning Participants list will also be published through the Website.
  • The Participant cannot edit any entry once it has been submitted.
  • The adjudication of the winning Participants is on the basis of laid evaluative parameters showcased in the submitted entry.
  • In the event of a tie, decision of ICICI Bank shall be final and binding. In all matters relating to the Programme, the decision of ICICI Bank shall be final and binding in all respects.
  • Participant understands and agrees that, ICICI Bank or its agents/ partners/ service providers/ affiliates shall have the right to do audit of the Participant and/ or the Entry and the Participant shall provide all support as maybe required for the aforesaid notice.
  • Participant understands and agrees that he/she shall not have any claim against the ICICI Bank, its directors, employees, associates, affiliates, etc., with respect to such use and shall not raise any objection or restriction regarding the usage of entries at any time and in any form in the future.
  • The Programme should not be used for promoting the Participant’s business. If ICICI Bank or its agents become aware the same, ICICI Bank may reject the Entry of such Participant at its sole discretion.
  • ICICI Bank reserves the right to disqualify any Participant from the Programme if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the Awards under the Programme or otherwise by participating in the Programme.
  • ICICI Bank reserves the right to use the name and all information relating to the Participant anywhere, anytime for any purposes that ICICI Bank deems fit and in any form under this Programme, in perpetuity. The Participant has accorded rights to the same by participating in this Programme.
  • The #LiveWithoutCash Movement is based on presentation of credible facts along with relevant support documents and chance plays no part in the determination of winning Participants.
  • The Programme period is from December 16, 2016 15:00:00 hours to January 31, 2017 23:59:00 hours.
  • The duration of the Programme may be decreased or increased and is at the sole discretion of ICICI Bank
  • Registration and submission of an Entry through the Website is the sole responsibility of the Participant.
  • Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the winner Participant due to provision of the Award, shall be to the sole account of the winner Participant. Tax deducted at source, if any, on the monetary value of the Award shall be payable by the winner Participant.
  • The Programme is not available wherever prohibited and / or on merchandise / products / services for which such Programme cannot be offered for any reason whatsoever. ICICI Bank reserves the right to modify / change all or any of the terms applicable to the Programme without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever. ICICI Bank also reserves the right to modify / discontinue the Programme without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever. Changes made to the rules will be posted on this Website in the Rules section
  • Participant agrees that personal data, especially name and address, may be processed, shared and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Programme and any other purposes outlined in the Terms and Conditions as set out herein. The data may also be used by the Alliance Partner(s) in order to verify the Participant's identity, postal address, and telephone number or to otherwise verify the Participant's eligibility
  • The Website may provide hyperlinks and/or advertisements to third party websites. These websites are not owned or controlled by ICICI Bank. Please note that ICICI Bank shall not be held responsible/liable for personal information that third parties collect, store and use through their website. Participant should always read the privacy policy of each website visited by him/her
  • Participant/s has the right to obtain a copy of processed personal information and data held by ICICI Bank about him/her. He/She may also request ICICI Bank to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal information held by it/ICICI Bank along with adequate proof of the same in terms of its authenticity. Any person authorised by ICICI Bank and Programme neither assumes nor bears any responsibility for any form or type of loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participating in the Programme and receiving of Awards and/or prizes. Content submitted is the responsibility of each Participant. By submitting supporting(s), each Participant assures that all entries submitted with true facts and no copyright and/or trademark or intellectual property rights or any third party rights have been violated by the participant. It shall not be the responsibility of Programme to obtain property release forms or to assure/examine protection of trademark or intellectual property rights or any third party rights.
  • By entering into the Programme, all Participants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to ICICI Bank, its agents / partners / service providers / authorised parties to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the Programme and promotion of the Programme, in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: display at a potential exhibition of winning Participants; publication in magazine or online highlighting entries or winning Participants of the Programme. Participants consent to the Programme doing or omitting to do any act that would otherwise infringe the Participant’s "moral rights" in their entries. Display or publication of any entry on ICICI Bank, its agents / partners / service providers / authorised party’s website does not indicate the participant will be selected as a winner. Authorised Parties will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use. Additionally, by entering, each participant grants to ICICI Bank, its agents / partners / service providers / authorised parties the unrestricted right to use all statements made in connection with the Programme, and pictures or likenesses of Programme entrants, or choose not to do so, at their sole discretion. Authorised parties will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use
  • Participant agrees and authorises ICICI Bank, its agents / partners / service providers / authorized parties to send him/ her SMS, emails, phone calls and any other communications in relation to the Programme despite being registered with ‘Do Not Call’ registry.
  • All disputes shall be governed by Indian Laws and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals at Mumbai.
  • All communication / queries/ notices with regard to the Programme should be addressed to e-mail id support@lwcmovement.com.
  • In case of the mobile number entered by the individual customer in the activation form is linked to more than one ICICI Bank Savings/Current account, then the account accumulating the maximum points will be considered for the Challenge.
  • For ICICI Bank customers, the entries with mobile numbers registered with ICICI Bank account will be eligible for the Awards.
  • Customer can register only once for the challenge and changes cannot be made once the registration process has been completed.
